Vela holidays in Italy: diary and travel itinerary

Here an extract from the travel diary in Italy to sail, where to find detailed information for the organization of the holiday/navigation.
& quot; the sun began to roast, we explained the sails, we stood a bottle of White wine and we enjoyed a panoramic aperitif. Behind us, in the distance, the Ligurian coast, in front of the sea only. & Quot;
& quot; we arrived in Ponza [...] On the one hand there was sunset over the sea, among the rocks, on the other this infinite vertical rock wall to whose feet stretched a long beach. On the left and on the right there were white cliffs and colored cliffs. The volcanic eruptions and the landslides that had formed these islands were authors of authentic masterpieces. I don't know how good artists as nature - even if I have to admit, the creations of the volcanoes are random and sometimes even a little catastrophic. & Quot;
& quot; a slight wind pushed us when, around 4 am, we saw a red light in heaven, in the distance: it was the sciare of the fire of Stromboli, the wake of lava erupted by the volcano always active. & quot;

Tips for a sailing holiday in Italy

Why go? Paradisiacche Islands, peaked cliffs, dream beaches, picturesque villages perched on the sea, different regional kitchens and all exceptional ... EHM, should I continue? Ah yes, the magnificent feeling of moving in the nature pushed only by the wind, the adrenaline under spinnaker and idyllic relax when falling asleep at anchor, in a deserted bay, cradled by the sea ...
ok, I I feel bad ... I have to leave!
when to go? Always, being able, but the ideal season is obviously summer. Even in spring and at the beginning of autumn the climate can be excellent: moreover there will be very few other boats around!
How to move? Charter offers are numerous: it is important to choose the boat well, the possible skipper, the crew and the starting point!
how much it costs? If the number of people on board is sufficient, the rental of a sailboat is often not much more expensive than a normal holiday in the hotel, consider that then you save on meals (being able to cook instead of eating out) And on the entertainment ... the boat already gives so much fun, there is no need to spend on anything else! The cost obviously also depends on the period, itinerary and ports visited.

Where to go? What questions ... everywhere! Okay, but you have to settle for. In this case the travel itinerary tap Archipelago Toscano (Isles of Capraia and Del Giglio), Pontine Islands (Palmarola, Ponza, Ventotene), Procida, Costa Campana, Aeolian Islands (Panarea and Volcano in particular) and Castellamare del Golfo. Among these goals there are numerous other deserving destinations of memorable sungiated, of course.
Other destinations? Corsica and Sardinia, just to say two ... but the choice is very wide.
