Amman, Jerash and the cities of Jordan
Amman is the capital of Jordan and the typical starting point for a trip to this nation, at least for those arriving by plane. Jordan ( On where you can find all the information here ), it is perhaps the safest country in the Middle East and Amman is no less. The population is friendly, the inviting restaurants, characteristic shops. The beauty, here, is going through the streets of the center, also taking a panoramic view from the Citadel of Amman.
Jerash is another remarkable city of Jordan, although for several reasons. Here, in fact, there are wonderful Roman ruins. And don't think "Yes, oh well, but I'm Italian, what do I do some Roman ruins?", Because it would be a little courteous thought towards Jerash, where theaters, temples and columns are extraordinarily scenic.
Scattered here and there for Jordan there are some fascinating castles. One of these is in Kerak.
Another interesting city is Madaba, where there are also some famous Christian churches for mosaics; The coexistence between people of different belief is peaceful and aproblematic in Jordan. The enmity with Israel (and sometimes with Americans) that often emerges from the speeches of the locals obviously historical political motivations.
