travel itinerary
The Tobago Cays are part of the islands, the islands of the Caribbean perhaps more wild and spectacular, and, in particular, of the Grenadines Archipelago.
The Tobago Cays are a marine reserve consisting of a few uninhabited islands and a sea of all the shades from the blue to blue. We visited the Tobago Cays on a sailing boat as most travelers do. There is ample space to moor on soft white sand, but there are also some boe fields; The boats are not lacking, but also in the Christmas holidays there is no sense of crowding. Alternatively you can participate in organized trips.

The five islands
The Horse Shoe Reef (horseshoe-shaped coral reef protects four islets including boats. On Petit Rameau there are a beautiful white beach shaded by palm trees and some tables where fish and lobsters are served. If this is not enough for you, you can climb through the cactus to the top of the hill at the center of the island, from where you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Marine Park of the Tobago Cays. Take some of the most beautiful photos of the Caribbean trip, from here.
The island of Barladal is smaller, with a curious tongue of sand that goes into the sea, around which the turtles swim and, in general, some travelers who admire the turtles.
The island of Jamesby is little more than a rock with a beautiful beach that can be used as a base to start with the kitesurf (between this island and the coral reef are not allowed by transit and mooring to larger boats, EI Kitesurfer take advantage of it to go about it).
Typically you move between the islands of the Tobago Cays with your boat's tender. Even more comfortable and cool is to use a kayak.
Outside the Horse Shoe Reef, but within the World's End Reef (the coral reef of the end of the world ... Passed this, only thousands of miles of Atlantic, and then Africa. What cool!) C ' It is the islet of Petit Tabac. Arriving in kayaks is feasible but a little more tiring, while you can moor the upwind boat to the island.
This is often deserted and presents the most wonderful white beach not only of Tobago Cays but of the entire travel itinerary to the Grenadines. Palm trees and water of all the shades of the blue complete the Celestial holiday square to the Caribbean.
Snorkeling
Around all the islands mentioned Snorkeling is fantastic. Turtles, corals and fish are easily admirable, also because water is almost everywhere clear and the depths are low.
The most fascinating snorkeling is probably the one on the coral reef of the Horse Shoe Reef. Unfortunately, many points the corals are no longer very colorful, but there is a hurry. The kayaking or the tender give the possibility of moving along the coral reef and then mooring at different points and a swim. In tenders remember to throw the still on the sand and not on the coral! In kayak you can simply give a vault around a rocky speech.
Snorkeling on the coral reef of the Tobago Cays could also get the lucky luck into a breed or in a harmless squeeze.
