From Lazise to Bardolino

On Lake Garda many interesting villages overlook with a long history, often connected by enchanting walks. One of the most pleasant ones of these walks goes from Lazise to Bardolino: five kilometers of beautiful views of the lake and beautiful houses.
The castle of Lazise is generally the first monument in which you come across after placing the car in the Free parking lots over the village. A great start, as well as an impressive entrance to the historic village of Lazise.

We are on the east coast of Lake Garda, in the province of Verona. The town center develops between picturesque alleys, but the most fascinating part is the square of Lazise overlooking a marina.

Here you reach the promenade of the lakefront and the view opens onto all the Garda, from the northernmost mountains to the southernmost plains. We want to go to Bardolino and then north. The lakefront walk continues pleasantly, without anything special to emphasize if not the beautiful view of the Garda. About halfway through the path, you spend the beautiful houses of Cisano, but it is when you arrive in view of Bardolino that you have the most beautiful views.

BARDOLINO is known to oenologists, drunkards and in general to those who love wine for red product in the area (in the hills around this area of Garda there are so many vineyards, and it is a pleasure to drive in secondary roads, admiring bucolic cultivations).

At this point, you can continue north and then return to Lazise by bus, or take the first leg route. In both cases, if tired after this ardua planted on the side of mothers with stroller and elderly with the stick, you can go to relax in the thermal park of Colà, just minutes from Lazise. This large outdoor park, as well as a beautiful vegetation, also offers a large hot lake (water is 33 degrees) with even hottest puddles and thermal waterfalls inside.
