When you decide to go up towards the hamlet of Lemaeglio, the views immediately understand that the fatigue is worth it. The very first part of the route takes place between a pedestrian climbing unique and a non-trafficked road that rises between the Vileglia villas.

Lemeglio is a small village that offers beautiful views, but also a picturesque church. It is about 150 meters above sea level and to reach a forty minutes walk to Moneglia.

Once you reach Lemeglio, you follow the signs for Monte Crocetta and Mount Incisa, walking along a narrow dirt road between fields and olive groves that then soon becomes a beautiful path in the woods.

The signs for the engraved mountain that leads to a thick forest. You will soon arrive at a junction where a white sign indicates Deiva to the right. The shortest path for Monte Incisa instead continues straight, but, before taking it up, it is worth going towards Deiva because in a hundred meters you get to a spectacular panoramic point on Lemeglio and Moneglia.

From here, you can go back to your own steps and take the path to Mount Incisa, or continue towards Deiva and then turn left soon at Monte Crocetta: In that case, you re-comes back to the direct itinerary for the mountain Engraved.

In both cases, you go into the woods without being able to enjoy special views until the vegetation becomes predominantly composed of Mediterranean scrub. Then, above the bushes, sublime views can be admired.

Thus we arrive at a rustic wooden bench which is the perfect place for a panoramic lunch. From here continue to the Falsopiano up to Monte Incisa, at an altitude of 514 meters, reachable in two hours - two and a half hours walking from Moneglia.

As soon as I passed the mountain, I get to a junction, indeed, a quadrivio, with the signs to continue. Those who have energy to sell can go up to Monte San Nicolao, distant two hours and very scenic. Instead we wanted to return to Moneglia and, instead of retracing the same itinerary, we decided to descend towards Comeglio (hamlet behind Moneglia, this area is paradise for lovers of "GL").

This stretch of path is a little less panoramic, but it allows you to pass first for the hamlet of comeglio and then, turning from here on a little traffic little countryside, for the few houses of Littorno.
