Among the Caribbean islands, small antilles are perhaps the most spectacular and characteristic. A travel itinerary here has white beaches, palm trees and coral reefs, but also typical villages and, on the larger islands (Guadeloupe, Dominica, Martinique, Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent), lush mountains and active volcanoes. The Grenadines Archipelago is a paradise for sailors, for snorkel and sea lovers in general.
The sailboat is the ideal vehicle for a vacation in this part of the Caribbean, but it is certainly not the only one . On this page and in the pages dedicated to the individual islands we will focus both on caribbean sailing cruises and on more traditional travel routes (hotels, car rentals, public transport and organized trips).
We need to note that the holiday in Sailboat is not necessarily the most expensive, indeed. So if the idea of living on the boat, move with the wind of the aliseo and moor in paradisiacal bays you don't mind, considerably consider the chance to sail to the Caribbean and in particular to the Grenadines.

Dominica
Perhaps the wildest Caribbean island, a paradise for trekking both on the beautiful coasts both in green and volcanic internal.
Martinique
France to the Caribbean. White and black beaches and icing hills of green. Baguette, but also Creole specialties. A soft approach to the travel itineraries to the Caribbean, an ideal starting point for sailing to other islands.
Saint Lucia The island of Saint Lucia has white beaches at whose shoulders stand lush mountains, with lots of waterfalls and natural spas. Under the Pitons there are spectacular moorings for sailors.
Saint Vincent For a travel itinerary in the Caribbean who has not changed, Saint Vincent is ideal. The coasts are wild, the interior even more.
Grenadine An Archipelago which is the surge of travel to the Caribbean. Paradisiacal beaches, sea bars to say the least characteristic, coral reef, a dream for sailors.
Tobago Cays These uninhabited islands feature the most beautiful sea of the Grenadines. Among the corals swim colored fish, turtles and sharks (innocuous). A mini-paradise for sailing, kite, snorkeling and kayaking.
Veleging to the Caribbean The ideal means for traveling to the Caribbean is the sailboat, maybe a catamaran. The constant wind of the aliseo gives fast crossing and tranquil moorings.
Canoe to the Caribbean An itinerary in kayak allows you to explore the costs more at the bottom of a sailboat. And what could be better than paying along the coral reef, diving for a swim every so often? An original but spectacular way of traveling: the photos speak for himself!
Why go? beaches and sea, obviously! But the interior of the larger islands is also spectacular. And in the evening, after having eaten fresh fish, you can find some nice bars with Caribbean music and a perfect holiday atmosphere.
When to go? The dry season, which coincides with the high season, goes from December to April, but considering that the Departments to the Caribbean pass quickly every month can be good. The temperature is constantly perfect. In some months, from August to November in particular, there is the hurrican risk.
How to move? Sailboat! By joining it in a group or aggregistering a skipper. However, sailing to the Caribbean is not the only possibility. On the larger islands it is useful a rental car to visit the beaches and travel in the interior. Among the islands you can move with ferries or planes. To get to the smaller islands and in particular to Tobago Cays you can join an organized tour.

How much does it cost? In contrast to many other Latin America countries, the Caribbean are not cheap. Eating out or going to the supermarket can cost as much as in Europe, and it is surprising how dear tropical fruit. Rent a sailboat is quite expensive but, considering that then you can eat on board and that you don't need to participate in other tours, in the end it is a great solution for a dear holiday but not too much. Moorings at the boa represent a small expense. Plane trips outside the top season are not expensive; For the French islands you spend less from Paris, for those English (or former English colonies like Saint Lucia) you spend less from London.
Keep in mind that in what it costs I take into account all the journey ... from the middle For the airport departure to the drink passing through meals and souvenirs.

Where to go? Here we focus on small antilles and, in particular, on Antigua, Guadeloupe, Dominica, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. These are the most wild and spectacular places of the Caribbean, as well as those ideal for sailing (unless you are looking for the glamor of the most frequented Virgin Islands).
Other destinations? There is much more to see, of course. The Grenadines goes south to Grenada and are all to visit. To the north and west of Antigua there is a world of islets and there are the great islands of the Caribbean, like Cuba and Jamaica, which are another world, which needs trips to itself.
